This visual art plan for 2022/2023 was developed to provide a variety of different materials and primary/imaginary sources that provide a deep learning experience. Looking at different disciplines from  across the three strand of Art, Craft and Design through the Junior and Senior Cycle programs. Curriculum planning is a key supportive mechanism to being successful at putting into practice the key schemes and successful learning outcomes, assessment and lesson planning and understanding that learning happens throughout.

Building creativeness is all about opening students minds to Art being more than just drawing. Developing motivation and active exploration through the units of learning that incorporate digital media, animation as well as the traditional art, craft and design skills, this also includes introductions and communications with art galleries and the wider local community.
